Thank you for considering Wound Care Associates of Colorado for your patients. We are an advanced mobile wound care provider that brings top-tier, professional wound care directly to the patient’s home—offering the same high-quality treatment they would receive in a traditional wound care center. We support patients through the entire healing process, ensuring efficient and effective care from start to finish.
Sarah, our nurse practitioner and certified wound care specialist, along with her medical assistant, performs in-home assessments, order advanced wound therapies, and coordinate with other necessary healthcare agencies. We are not home health; we are a wound care center on wheels. We typically visit patients once a week initially, and if more frequent care is needed (2-3x weekly dressing changes), we work alongside home health to ensure the patient gets the care they need. We send weekly progress notes to collaborating providers and update treatment plans in real-time if any changes occur.
We accept Medicare, most Medicare Advantage plans, and various commercial insurance providers. To refer a patient, simply call our office at 720-213-0680 or fax the referral form, including the patient’s demographics, insurance details, and 4 weeks of wound care notes, to 720-213-0681. We verify benefits within 24 hours, and patients are seen within a few days.
